Mike Maxey is the Senior Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at Greenplum, a division of EMC. In this role, Mike is responsible for driving the future strategy of the Greenplum product portfolio, a comprehensive platform that is delivering the future of Big Data Analytics. Previous to Greenplum, Mike was the Senior Director of Product Management for ParaScale, a parallel distributed file system company now owned by Hitachi Data Systems. Prior to ParaScale, Mike held product management roles at EMC Rainfinity and McDATA.

Last month at the Strata Conference, my cohort Matt Neglay and I presented a talk, “Demonstrating the Future of Data Science.” As we demonstrated to the standing room-only crowd, data science is changing.
